Iraqi Ambassador to Sweden Visits Stockholm International Water Institute SIWI

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Sweden Mr. Ahmad Al-Kamali visited the Stockholm International Water Institute SIWI and met with Mrs. Maria Vink, Director of the Department of Tran boundary Water Management and Ms. Martina Klimes, Senior Advisor to the Institute. The Ambassador thanked the Institute for its efforts in assisting Iraq in the field of training and building the capacity of the employees of the relevant Iraqi ministries as well as the staff of the provincial councils in the field of water management and inviting Iraq to participate in the Stockholm International Water Forum 2020, the Ambassador also discussed a number of topics that contribute to Iraq’s support in the field of water management and enhance cooperation between the Institute and the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources.
