Head of Europe Department Meets Czech Ambassador to Baghdad

Head of Europe Department Ambassador Ismail Shafiq Mohsen met with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Baghdad, Mr. Martin Vitek at the ministry in Baghdad.

  The Czech Ambassador offered his condolences and that of his government and people for the martyrdom of a number of citizens in the stampede that took place in Karbala on 10/10/2019 during the Ashura commemoration.

The two Ambassadors also discussed bilateral relations and issues of common concern, in addition to following up the latest developments on the third session of the Iraqi-Czech Joint Committee.
