Foreign Minister Meets with his Jordanian Counterpart Mr. Ayman Al-Safadi

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Mr. Ayman Al-Safadi on the sidelines of the League of Arab States 152nd ordinary session at the ministerial level.
The two Ministers discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Baghdad and Amman in economic and development sectors.

Minister Alhakim called on Jordanian companies to invest in Iraq in the field of infrastructure reconstruction, expressing Baghdad’s aspiration to build bonds of political consultation on various issues that are of priority to both countries.

During the meeting, the two Ministers also reviewed regional developments, the importance of security coordination and combating terrorism, and agreed to continue meetings and consultations in order to strengthen the mechanisms of joint action to meet the current challenges and to ensure the security and stability of the Arab region.
