Statement

The Republic of Iraq welcomes the signing of the Constitutional Declaration and the historic political agreement between the Forces of Freedom and Change and the Transitional Military Council, and the formation of the Sovereign Council, and the appointment of a Head of Government in Republic of Sudan, hoping that this step contributes to stability and prosperity in Sudan.

The Iraqi Government presents its full support to the brotherly Sudanese people to achieve their hopes for peace and prosperity.
