Foreign Minister Calls Romanian Charge d’affaires in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim called the Romanian Chargé d’affaires in Baghdad to check on the health and safety of Romanian embassy staff after extinguishing a fire on the second floor of the embassy building.
The Foreign Ministry immediately followed up through the Protocol Department with the civil defense staff at the Ministry of Interior to extinguish the fire. An embassy diplomat suffered minor burns and was transferred to the Medical City for treatment and is in good condition.
