Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of Georgia’s Non-resident Ambassador to Baghdad
Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim received a copy of the credentials of Georgia’s non-resident Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Zaza Kandelak.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of enhancing cooperation opportunities at various levels to meet the aspirations of the two peoples.
Minister Alhakim stressed the importance of establishing greater prospects for constructive cooperation, stressing that the strategy of Iraq’s relations takes into account the common interests with the countries of the world and to serve the progress and prosperity of our friendly peoples.
Minister Alhakim expressed the ministry’s aspiration for Georgia to open an embassy in Baghdad, because of its positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.
