Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Multilateral Relations Meets Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad

The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Multilateral Relations, Mr.  Hazem Al-Youssifi received the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Salem Al-Zamanan.  After exchanging welcoming words, Ambassador Al-Zamanan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Iraqi government’s efforts to resolve all outstanding issues between Iraq and Kuwait stating that the Kuwaiti archives and missing persons files have achieved great progress and development after Mr. Al-Youssifi took over the chairmanship of the Kuwaiti Archives Committee in addition to the chairmanship of the tripartite committee for tracing missing persons.

Mr. Al-Yousiffi reviewed the important results of the 48th session of the Tripartite Committee, which took place in the Jordanian capital , Amman on 31/7/2019, with emphasis on the imminent delivery of a new batch of Kuwaiti archives (scientific books) likely after the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
