Acting Head of Europe Department Meets Russian Ambassador in Baghdad

The Acting head of Europe Department Mr. Ali Shamran met with the Russian Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Maxime Maximov upon the request of the latter.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the upcoming visit of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Baghdad during October. The two sides also discussed the possibility of signing the exemption of visa agreement for diplomatic and Service passports during the visit.
