The Acting Head of International Organizations and Conferences Department Meets the Russian Ambassador in Baghdad

The Acting Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Rahman Farhan Al Ameri  met on Monday 29/7/2019 with the Russian Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Maxime Maximov upon  the latter’s request.  The meeting discussed the most important topics in the international arena.

Mr. Farhan stressed Iraq’s firm and principled position in supporting any initiative for a world free of chemical weapons and stated that Iraq calls for the need to avoid escalation between the parties of the crisis in the Gulf region and support any peaceful initiative aimed at pacifying the region.
