Foreign Minister Calls Turkish Counterpart Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim telephoned Turkish Foreign Minister Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu. The minister expressed his condolences for the attack that claimed the life of the Turkish diplomat in Erbil Governorate expressing his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.

Minister Alhakim stressed that the Foreign Ministry is coordinating with the concerned Iraqi authorities to investigate the incident in order to identify its causes and know its circumstances pointing out that this criminal act will not affect the extent and nature of the relations between Baghdad and Ankara, but will increase the two sides’ determination to support the relations to serve the two friendly peoples.
