Iraq Participates in Abu Dhabi Climate Forum

  The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the UAE, Dr. Zaid Ezzeldin Mohammad Nouri participated in the Abu Dhabi Climate Forum held in the UAE recently. The Ambassador delivered Iraq’s speech during the roundtable meeting in which he stressed the importance of climate and its  impact on Iraq referring to national efforts in completing the National Limited Contributions Document (NCDs) and preparing the Country Program for the Green Climate Fund in addition to start working in Iraq to produce clean energy using solar panels. The meeting was held with the participation of UN Secretary-General Mr. Antonio Guterres, 100 high-ranking international officials and ministers from several countries around the world, and more than 2000 decision makers, representatives of countries, experts and global specialists in the field of climate work representing more than 160 countries around the world.
