The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Ottawa Presents Copy of Credentials to Canadian Foreign Ministry

On 4/7/2019, Ambassador Dr. Wadih Batti presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinaire and plenipotentiary to the Head of the Protocol Department at the Canadian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Stewart Wheeler,

Dr. Wadih Batti thanked Mr. Wheeler and expressed the Iraqi government’s desire to make a qualitative leap in bilateral relations at all levels, and conveyed the greetings of Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim, to the esteemed Foreign Minister to the Canadian side. On his part Mr. Wheeler expressed the readiness to provide support for the success of the tasks assigned to the Ambassador wishing him success in his new work and in the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
