Head of Department of International Organizations and Conferences Meets Russian Ambassador in Baghdad

The A Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences Mr. Rahman Farhan Al Ameri met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq Mr. Maxime Maximov at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad. During the meeting they discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them.

During the meeting, the Russian Ambassador handed a memorandum of thanks and appreciation to Iraq for supporting the candidacy of the Russian Federation for membership of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the period 2020-2022 during the elections held in the General Assembly of the United Nations recently.
