Foreign Minister Receives Sudanese Ambassador to Baghdad on Occasion of Ending his Tenure in Iraq

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohammed A. Alhakim received the Ambassador of Sudan to Baghdad Mr.Yaseen Awad Ismail, on the occasion of ending his duties in Baghdad. The Minister affirmed the depth of the historical relations between Baghdad and Khartoum and the keenness of the Iraqi Government to strengthen them in all fields.

 Minister Alhakim expressed the hope that the Sudan will witness success in achieving a smooth democratic transition in order to avoid dispute and division that is not in the interest of Sudan.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success in his future diplomatic missions, praising his role in supporting relations and development between the two countries, calling for broadening prospects of cooperation in various fields.
