Iraq Participates in Conference of Global Coalition against Da’esh in Paris

Ambassador Dr. Abdulrahman Hamed Al-Husseini , Iraq’s Ambassador in Paris participated in a High-level Expert Meeting (Conference of the Global Coalition against Da’esh  held at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs for the period 25-26 June 2019

   The Ambassador gave a speech at the meeting, during which he praised the international efforts to support Iraq in the fight against terrorism and drying up its funding sources, stressing that the defeat of Da’esh came with the will and sacrifices of all components of the Iraqi people and its military and security apparatus. The Ambassador also pointed out that Iraq looks forward to the international community’s understanding and cooperation with the Iraqi government in continuing to pursue terrorist organizations to ensure the local, regional and international security and peace.
