Foreign Minister Holds Telephone Conversation with Bahraini Counterpart

Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim called his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa.
Minister Alhakim expressed his condemnation of the storming of a number of demonstrators yesterday the headquarters of the Bahraini embassy, ​​stressing Iraq’s commitment to the security of diplomatic missions, including the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and stating that this will not affect the level of relations, or diplomatic representation between Baghdad and Manama.
On his part, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed Bahrain’s understanding of what happened, stressing that such acts will not affect the brotherly relations between the two countries.
