Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo Hosts a Seminar for Arab Culture
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its Permanent Mission to the League of Arab States hosted on Sunday, June 16, 2019, the activities of the periodic seminar held by the Arab Cultural Salon titled “Cultural Diversity and National Identity”. Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Cairo Mr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, and a group of intellectuals, writers, diplomats, journalists, artists and members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives participated in the seminar.
The seminar was administered by Mr. Qais Al-Azzawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and witnessed positive interventions and discussions..
The seminar was attended by Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Ould Omar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, the Moroccan Ambassador in Cairo, Mr. Ahmed Tazi, Mr. Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister of Egypt, and the critic Dr. Salah Fadl and Mr. Tharwat A-Kharbawi, expert on Islamic movements. In addition to Mr. Jaber Asfour, former Egyptian Minister of Culture and Jurist, Mr. George Ishaq and others.
