Foreign Minister Meets with his Tunisian Counterpart
Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Tunisian Foreign Minister Mr. Khamis Jahnawi.
The two sides discussed issues of the region and bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Tunisia. The meeting also focused on the most important issues that will be discussed at the Islamic and Arab Summits.
The minister briefed his counterpart on the movements of Iraq in the Arab region and the regional environment, stressing that Iraq today has a weight in the region and that the countries of the world continue to cooperate with it in the fields of development and support of bilateral trade, stressing the importance of coordinating efforts to achieve calmness and flexible handling of issues on the Summit agenda or through bilateral meetings.
This came in the context of the two Islamic and Arab Summits, and the two emergency Summits which are conducting their work in Mecca.
