Foreign Minister Receives Turkish Counterpart

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim received his Turkish counterpart Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara and ways of continuing bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

Minister Alhakim stressed the keenness of Baghdad to develop, and advance relations to greater prospects to achieve common interests.

They also discussed the regional and international issues of mutual interest and the importance of concerted efforts towards calmness in the region and support for the peace process in this delicate situation.
