Chargé D’affaires in Georgia Meets the President of the Agency for Development of Public Services

The Iraqi Chargé d’Affaires in Georgia, Mr.  Ali Mohan Alwan met with head of the Agency for the Development of Public Services Mr. Ghayor Gadze . The two sides reviewed the difficulties faced by the Iraqi community residing in Georgia in obtaining and renewing residence.

The Chargé d’affaires called on the Georgian side to find possible solutions, to provide assistance and to facilitate the granting of residence to the community, especially the students.

On his part, Mr. Gadze explained that the reason for the delay in granting or renewing residence is procedural changes in the applications.

Stating that there is a bill in the Georgian parliament relating to applications for residence that will be decided on applications for academic residence.
