Chief of Protocol Department Minister Plenipotentiary Receives the Dutch Ambassador

The Chief Protocol Department, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Manhal Al-Safi, received the Dutch Ambassador Mr. Matthijs Wolters and discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and regional issues of common interest.

Mr. Manhal reiterated the main principles of the Iraqi position on the regional crises, which are based on the importance of allowing political solutions, the adoption of dialogue between the parties of dispute and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.

The two sides concluded the meeting by agreeing to continue consultation and exchange views on various issues of common concern.
