The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Delhi Meets President of the Indian Cultural Council

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Delhi,  Mr. Falah Abdul Hassan met with the President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Ambassador Vinay Sahasrabuddhe  at the headquarters of the Cultural Council, after the exchange of welcoming words  Ambassador Falah talked about the depth of historical and cultural ties linking the two friendly countries and the importance of developing them, and expressed the desire of the Embassy to hold cultural events involving intellectuals and artists from Iraq and India, to convey the true image of the new Iraq, and convey customs and traditions of Iraqi society and the exchange of views and cultural experiences between the two countries.

 On his part, Mr. Vinay welcomed the proposal and promised to provide all possible facilities for the success of this cultural event, adding that the mission can participate in the activities of the council such as the celebration on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi.
