Head of the Arab Department Meets New Zealand’s Ambassador in Baghdad

The Head of the Arab Department, Ambassador Ismail Shafiq Mohsen met with Ambassador of New Zealand in Baghdad Ms. Tredene Dobson at the ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.

During the meeting they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the prospects for their future development. The Head of the Arab Department thanked the Ambassador of New Zealand for the continued support to Iraq, particularly in the field of training the Iraqi army, and also urged the New Zealand side to engage in other fields such as investment, development projects and reconstruction of liberated areas.

On her part, the New Zealand Ambassador thanked the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for the assistance it provides for the diplomatic mission in Iraq.
