Press Statement

The tripartite meeting will be held at the level of the Foreign Ministers of Iraq, Jordan and Egypt in Baghdad on Sunday, 4th of August. The meeting will discuss strengthening Arab relations, which are the main objectives of the Foreign Ministry’s strategy, the diversification of partnerships, the various economic circles that allow openness, support Iraq in stabilizing, achieving development, consolidating cooperation and joint Arab action. They will also discuss combating terrorism and investment through a series of agreements, understandings that include economic coordination, and support for Iraq in the reconstruction of areas liberated from the control of Da’esh terrorist gangs.
The participants will exchange views and ideas on the most important issues of common concern, evaluate regional developments and advance Arab solidarity process, which will contribute to achieving the hopes of the peoples of the three countries for development and prosperity.
The meeting reflects the keenness of the three countries to continuously consult on ways to enhance cooperation, achieve integration in various fields and build on the outcomes of the tripartite summit held in Cairo in the presence of the Prime Minister Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan King Abdullah to achieve common goals.
