Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, met with members of the Iraqi delegation visiting the United Arab Emirates to participate in the reconstruction of Al-Nouri Mosque and Al-Hadba Minaret. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to the members of the Iraqi delegation expressing his country's keenness on the need to return Iraq to its past era to take up its role strongly.
On his part, the head of the Sunni Endowment Bureau, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Humiam, thanked the UAE initiative, noting that the care and attention he found during the trip is not new of the UAE, which has had many positive initiatives towards Iraq and its people and reviewed Iraq's efforts in rebuilding Mosul.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development in the UAE Ms. Noura Al Kaabi and members of the delegation, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Humaim, Chairman of Dr. Raad Al-Alousi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the UAE , and Undersecretary for Culture Ministry for Tourism and Antiques Dr. Qais Hussein.
On the same occasion, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance in the UAE government, met with members of the delegation. At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan welcomed the members of the delegation, wishing them success in their mission and praised the history of Iraq, which is known for its ancient culture.
On his part, the head of the Sunni Endowment Bureau, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Humaim, thanked the Minister for his generous invitation and the meeting of his Excellency with the members of the delegation, while appreciating the UAE's important initiatives towards Iraq and its people.
